Last chance to enter the Marketing Week Masters awards

More than 60 CMOs and managing directors will judge the annual awards, which celebrate strategic effectiveness across the marketing world.

The Marketing Week Masters awards deadline has been extended until 5 June. Across more than 30 categories, the awards celebrate what excellent looks like in marketing and marketing leadership.

Open to brands, agencies, designers, PR firms and marketing technology companies, the awards cover every aspect of marketing from strategy though to execution.

Here are three reasons why you should enter:

A jury of the biggest names, and brightest and most expert marketers

An unrivalled group of senior marketers in number, seniority and expertise will determine the shortlist and winners of this year’s awards.

Judges include Sara Bennison, CMO of Nationwide; Sharry Cramond, marketing director for food at Marks & Spencer; Alessandra Bellini, chief customer officer of Tesco; Keith Moor, CMO of Camelot; Katherine Whitton, CMO of Specsavers; and Zaid Al-Qassab, Channel 4’s CMO.

Additionally, the jury features some of the most expert and authoritative names in their field. This includes Claire Saddler, marketing director of Direct Line’s business division; Aviva’s chief data scientist Orlando Machado; Adidas’s global media director Simon Peel; and Andrew Geoghegan, global consumer planning director at Diageo.

More chances to be celebrated

Across more than 30 categories, the awards celebrate what excellent looks like in marketing and marketing leadership.

There are opportunities for you or your clients to be recognised as the best in their vertical sector, in use of a channel or in several ‘special’ categories that recognise those brands and marketers that are demonstrating true leadership

New sector categories such as healthcare and pharma have been introduced, while we have better defined categories to highlight excellence in sectors such as sport and hospitality.

Other new categories include Excellence In Segmentation, while those companies building brands over a longer period will be celebrated in the Long Term Brand Building award.

Meanwhile, a new award for business transformation judged by a panel of CEOs will reward the project that has moved the dial for the business, not just the brand.

The Marketing Week Masters awards don’t end on the evening. Winners will be showcased as examples of marketing effectiveness on Marketingweek.com to Marketing Week’s audience of hundreds of thousands of senior marketers.

Some of the winners and those shortlisted will also be featured at the UK’s biggest marketing event, the Festival of Marketing, which takes place on 7-8 October at Tobacco Dock in London. For example, 2019’s Grand Prix winner, Britvic, was featured in a Festival session that was recorded for a podcast, Marketing That Matters.
