The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is seeking an agency to handle the &£3m advertising account for the recruitment side of its business.

JWT holds the brief, but its contract runs out in March next year. The agency has been invited to repitch for the account, which covers internal and external recruitment.

The FSA has decided not to ask COI Communications to handle the pitches, and will oversee the process itself. A spokeswoman says the contract will be awarded on a three-year basis, with the possibility of two further 12-month extensions at the end of the first period.

The FSA is seeking an agency that can help it develop its employer brand, and to handle its graduate recruitment as well as recruitment requirements. It is not known whether the FSA’s media arrangements will be affected by the review.

In September, the organisation appointed Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest and Glue London to provide advertising and digital services for a campaign promoting its impartial mortgage information service.

The pitch was handled by the COI, with the winning pair fighting off Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Dare; Walsh Trott Chick Smith and EHS Brann; and McCann Erickson and Random Media.
